spent 2 days at Karen Howse's workshop monoprinting and stitch. Created work very different from my own which was great fun. Who knows where it may lead?

I love the colors. Very rich. What do you mean by cling film?
Hi Judy, thanks for posting your comment. I use cling film (a thin transparent plastic- you wrap sandwiches etc in) and make a snippet sandwich which is ironed in layers. Place thread/fabric snippets onto cling film, place another layer of cling film, cover with parchment paper and iron lightly, place more snippets, another cling film layer, and iron again, repeat until 4/5 layers are done. Then machine stich over the surface to hold. Hope this makes sense?
PS, love the photos on your blog, best wishes jill
the collaged paper is just FAB! Jill. I've just discovered your blog and it makes me want to run away and make things! LOL
